Hola a todos pues bien aquí seguimos hoy hablamos con el cirujano y Daniel va a requerir de marcapasos esperemos no permanente y esto es debido a que los impulsos eléctricos no pasan bien entre la cámaras altas y las cámaras bajas del corazón.
Nos dice que en sus 20 años de experiencia y operando este es el primer caso que el niño al salir de la cirugía esta perfecta su conducción y después de unos días empeora, sabíamos que Daniel es único pero nunca creí que a estos niveles; lo que van a hacer es colocar el marcapasos de la cámaras baja esto para evitar de nuevo una cirugía donde le tengan que abrir el tórax como la que tuvo hace dos semanas.
El doctor esta aparte de triste por el resultado y el tener que colocar el marcapasos también confiado que a la larga va a recuperar su conducción y no va a requerir el marcapasos mas delante y es otra cosa buena de que se lo pongan ahorita, el marcapasos no evita que se recupere pero si evita problema mas grave como que no lata el corazón. El procedimiento es digamos sencillo comparado con todo lo que le han hecho solo una abierta en el costado izquierdo y lo meten entre las costillas, si mas delante no mejorara su conducción y fuera a requerir marcapasos de por vida tendrán que agregar la parte de las cámaras altas y lo hacen con una incisión en el costado derecho.
A fin de cuentas nosotros también estamos un poco tristes por que de ir muy bien empezó a bajar pero por otro lado lo bueno es que su problema es algo que lo pueden arreglar con un marcapasos y no es algo más grave, aún tiene dos soplos pequeños que no creen vayan a afectar y con el tiempo la naturaleza de los mismos es que cierren.
En resumen mañana le ponen el marcapasos a las 8:30 de la mañana y en teoría como en una semana nos vamos a casita, esperemos que así sea y les pido que no le aflojen con la rezada esperemos sea lo último para nuestro campeón y que no requiera mas cirugías complicadas como las que ha tenido.

Hello every body we are still in the hospital and today we spoke with the surgeon and Daniel will require a pacemaker hopefully not permanent and that is because his electro pulses between the heart chambers are not quite good.
He said in his 20 years of experience Daniel will be the very firs one that needs a pacemaker after having a really good electric conduction in the heart the first days after surgery, we knew Daniel is unique but not that unique; what they are going to do is put the pacemaker in the lower chamber so the procedure won´t be so hard as an open heart surgery.
The doctor is in part disappointed because of this but still confident that is just a temporary measure and the good part is the pacemaker won´t interfere in the healing process so if the conduction system starts getting better the pace maker won´t interfere into that. The surgery will be just a small opening in the left side of the chest and they place the pacer in between the ribs and if later on the road he loses all the conduction (hopefully he won´t) they can add the upper chamber part with a small opening in the right chest.
We are disappointed too because we was doing so good after the surgery but the good part is that the problem is still fixable and nothing worst, he still have 2 small vsd´s but they don´t think he will have problems with that and the nature of those vsd´s is to close by themselves or at list get smaller.
Making the story short tomorrow at 8:30am we will go to the OR and get the pacer and in theory we will be back home in like a week (hopefully, all the theories won´t work with Daniel as we know) so we ask you to keep praying for him and hopefully this is the las procedure he will need in long long time.
